Explainer: How many seats are there in the Lok Sabha vote?

The Lok Sabha consists of 543 parliamentary constituencies across the nation. Each of which is responsible for electing one member who further serve as the voice of their respective constituencies in the Lower House of the Parliament. The President of India maintains the authority to nominate a maximum of two members to represent the Anglo-Indian community.
